This work is a direct consequence of my most recent palaeogeographic work, and the need to define and understand palaeodrainage systems as an integral boundary condition for coupled ocean-atmosphere modelling experiments. Drainage analysis provides information about the hydrological cycle on land, and especially how this interacts with the evolution of the landscape. A detailed reconstruction of the Maastrichtian drainage system has already been compiled (Markwick, 2001, Markwick and Valdes, 2002) and I intend to have this work in review before the end of this year together with the full Maastrichtian DEM. As soon as this work is published I'll add more information to this page.
