Although I am currently employed in Industry I continue to pursue my own independent research. I believe that the strength of this research lies in its breadth (the ability to draw together information and concepts from diverse fields from the physical and biological sciences, and to interact with scientists from varied backgrounds) and the utilization of the latest computer technology, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These strengths are complemented by my oil industry experience and contacts.
