Neogene: Early Miocene

This is one of a set of global palaeogeographies comprising the Late Cretaceous stages (Aptian-Maastichtian) and Cenozoic sub-Epochs, which were constructed back in 1997-1998 based on earlier work at the University of Chicago: Markwick et al., 1999. Shown in their draft forms on this site, the full updated versions will be made available shortly. For further information see the FAQ accessible from the menu on the left of this page, or contact me at paul@markwick001.freeserve.co.uk.
