Early Cretaceous: Berriasian

Map currently unavailable

This is one of a set of global palaeogeographies originally comprising the Late Cretaceous stages (Aptian-Maastichtian) and Cenozoic sub-Epochs, which were constructed back in 1997-1998 based on earlier work at the University of Chicago: Markwick et al., 1999. The Early Cretaceous and Late Jurassic time slices are not available in the draft form shown on this web site for the Aptian - Recent maps, but will be included in the final manuscript. For further information see the FAQ accessible from the menu on the left of this page, or contact me at paul@markwick001.freeserve.co.uk.
